DinoCapture asks you to connect the Dino-Lite via USB even though it is already connected.
Cause
The Dino-Lite driver was not installed properly, or an incorrect driver was installed.
Solution
1. Right-click on the Computer icon on your desktop and select Manage. Click on Device Manager.
2. Expand the Imaging Devices category, and if that is not present, the Other Devices category.
3. Locate the Dino-Lite device. There may be a yellow error indicator icon next to it.
4. Right-click on the Dino-Lite device and select uninstall. If given the optional to delete driver files, do not select that option. Click okay.
5. Click on the Action menu, and select Scan for Hardware Changes. The Dino-Lite device should reappear without the error.

Rename the "Digital Microscope" folders that contain the settings files for DinoCapture (for example, change the name to "Digital Microscope Old"). The folders may be found in the following locations:

Solution
If the user will have access to an administrator account:
1. Completely uninstall the DinoCapture software and remove the Dino-Lite microscope.
2. Switch to the administrator account
3. Reinstall DinoCapture and connect the Dino-Lite microscope. DinoCapture should now run properly.
If the user will not have access to an administrator account:
1. Completely uninstall the DinoCapture software and remove the Dino-Lite microscope.
2. Temporarily grant administrator-rights to the account that will be using DinoCapture.
3. Reinstall DinoCapture and connect the Dino-Lite microscope. Allow the Dino-lite device to install.
4. Remove the Dino-Lite device and reconnect in any other USB ports that will be used, allowing the device to be installed in each one.
5. Run the DinoCapture software, and capture an image to create the default image saving directory.

Solution: If recently removed a webcam software after installing DinoCapture, try reinstalling the webcam software. The DinoCapture might have attached a file from the previous software and requires it to run.
9. Error – code 39
After completing the installation from the CD, then plugging the device into a USB port to install the driver, an error message shows up while installing. “Code 39 - Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing.”
Cause:
Problem may be caused after installing DinoCapture then uninstalling another imaging device such as a web-cam.
Solution:
Please re-install the other imaging devices software which the Dino-Lite software might have linked some files to. After that re-install DinoCapture

Problem may be caused after installing DinoCapture then uninstalling another imaging device
such as a web-cam. Solution:
Please re-install the other imaging devices software which the DinoLite software might have

Error Code - Runtime error 53 - file not found
Cause:
Deleted or manipulated picture or Video on source folder (My Documents/ Pictures or Video)
Solution:
Remove or transfer pictures/video onto another folder.
Runtime error 75 - Path/File access error
Cause A:
My Documents folder is on a Network Drive. “Path /File access error” Windows XP on
Network Environment.
Often this is caused when a program is trying to access a network file it doesn't have proper
access to either because of network privileges or something is blocking the program. This

A. Open your My Computer folder or similar, and go to the folder: C:\Program Files\Dino\
Find the DinoCapture.bat, double click to execute it. The DinoCapture software should launch
correctly following a short process.
If that doesn't work then:
Uninstall the Driver of Dino-Lite Plus and Pro, and reinstall the DinoCapture Ver 3.0.0.0 You

Runtime error 104 - I click to take a picture in Vista OS. Happens when taking a picture on
Vista OS,
Cause:
Solution: "Run as administrator" and having the USB in before it assumes your using the web
cam.
Runtime error 339 - Cause (XP or Vista):
Component ‘FileZip.DLL’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: file is missing or
invalid.

As for the Windows XP computer, if the error is just FileZip.DLL then downloading and
installing the latest software update version 2.9.0.0 or above higher from our website should fix
the issue.

When you run the DinoCapture program for the first time, please right click on the DinoCapture

Your version of Windows is currently configured to use the comma "," character when
displaying numbers instead of the decimal "." character. DinoCapture will only work when
decimals are used in numbers.
Solution:
Configure Windows to use the decimal "." when displaying numbers.
Select Start / Control Panel / Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options. Change the format of
numbers, dates, and times. On the Regional Options configuration page, click on the Customize
button. Enter the decimal character "." as the character to use for the Decimal Symbol. Click on
the OK button to save your settings.
