2. What is the Magnification, Field of View, Working Distance, and Depth of Field?

Magnification vs. Working Distance


Most Dino-Lite microscopes have variable magnification. As with traditional microscopes, a higher magnification means shorter working distance, and smaller field of view and depth of field, and a lower magnification will give a longer working distance, larger field of view and depth of field.

What file format is the captured images and video saved in?

Windows

DinoCapture saves images by default as a bitmap(bmp) file, but this option can be changed to
a jpeg(jpg). Other options include png and tif. Videos are saved as wmv

Save File format: BMP ,GIF ,PNG ,MNG ,TIF ,TGA ,PCX ,WBMP ,JP2 ,JPC ,JPG ,PGX ,RAS ,PNM,
WMV, MOV
