1. “Please connect Dino Digital Microscope via USB”, even though the microscope is currently plugged in.

Problem

DinoCapture asks you to connect the Dino-Lite via USB even though it is already connected.
Cause

The Dino-Lite driver was not installed properly, or an incorrect driver was installed.

Solution

1. Right-click on the Computer icon on your desktop and select Manage. Click on Device Manager.

2. Expand the Imaging Devices category, and if that is not present, the Other Devices category.

3. Locate the Dino-Lite device. There may be a yellow error indicator icon next to it.

4. Right-click on the Dino-Lite device and select uninstall. If given the optional to delete driver files, do not select that option. Click okay.

5. Click on the Action menu, and select Scan for Hardware Changes. The Dino-Lite device should reappear without the error.
