The AM413ZTAS (polarized) model is designed to achieve 55x or 215x at ~6.5mm WD without having to touch the object, or (85x-145x) magnification when you touch the object. 10X ~ 40X Working distance is from 6 inch ~ 0.4 inch. The popular variable cross polarization feature allows the user to effectively reduce the effects of glare and to help eliminate “hot spots” from highly reflective surfaces and providing uniform illumination to bring out more surface detail with minimal glare.The key difference between the AM413ZTA and the AM413ZTAS is the shortened plastic nozzle on the AM413ZTAS. The nozzle has been trimmed to allow contact-free examination of a subject at the highest magnification or (85x and 2nd focus 145x) magnification when you touch the object. AM413ZTAS provides the greatest range of magnification when paired with an accessory stand like the MS-34B, MS-35B, or MS-36B. The AM413ZTAS achieves the highest magnification in handheld use. This is beneficial when the user needs more portability, without requiring a stand.

The Dino-Lite Polarizing system can be switched on/off or can be adjusted to offer full or half polarization, providing the versatility required for use in the Dermatology – Skin or Scalp check, for diagnosis, cosmetic, follow up, hair loss treatment, etc. As well biomedical, printing/graphic arts, surface analysis and a variety of other fields.

This model uses the H11 housing which is the second generation housing for the Dino-Lite that incorporates: improved magnification dial movement for smooth and easy adjustment and focusing with the Dino-Lite, a scroll lock feature for assuring desired set magnification/focus, and a cable strain relief (SR) that holds the Dino-Lite and its USB Cable together for greater resistance from pulls and twists.

The 1.3 mega pixel resolution AM413ZTAS also comes with the calibrated measurement feature and all of the other standard features found in the Dino-Lite line of digital microscopes including the “DinoCapture” software which enables you to “capture” either a photograph, video or time-lapsed video with a simple click!

MicroTouch:

• Touch sensitive static sensor trigger on the body of certain Dino-Lite models
