The AM4013MZT Dino-Lite X Pro2 is a metal encased polarized model designed to reduce the effects of glare and to help eliminate “hot spots” from highly reflective surfaces and providing uniform illumination to bring out more surface detail with minimal glare. Simply by rotating the polarization filter, the AM4013MZT handheld digital microscope can amazingly decrease glare to almost any extent. The polarizing ability can thus help its users to view highly reflective surfaces with reduced glare. A good example is using the polarization filter for soldering inspections. The Dino-Lite Polarizing system can be switched on/off or also can be adjusted to offer full or half polarization, providing the versatility required for use in the Dermatology, hair loss treatment, biomedical, printing/graphic arts, surface analysis and a variety of other fields.

You can also use the handheld digital microscope to see through some semi-transparent surfaces; such as seeing inclusions in a diamond or gem, opaque plastics that maybe too reflective to see defects, or sub dermal inspections such as for dermatology and cuticle inspections.

Dino-Lite digital microscopes are an affordable feature loaded portable magnification device designed for dedicated professional and general inspection applications. The 1.3MP resolution AM4013MZT is also equipped with calibrated measurement and other standard features such as “MicroTouch” shutter trigger, 8 built in LED lights with on/off, etc. found in previous AM40XX models. Included with each Dino-Lite digital microscope is a copy of the “DinoCapture” software, enabling you to “capture” either a photograph, video or time-lapsed video and perform measurement and other critical tasks.

• Please note that the first graduation increment on the magnification dial is 20X up to 230x, but effective viewing at lower magnification is possible. For measurements measurement below 20X, calibration is required for accuracy.
