DinoCapture 2.0 v1.3.7: Opaque Mode, External GPS, & DPI Settings

The latest version of the DinoCapture software is available. Changes include:

-Add: Opaque mode= Up to 4 pictures can now be set to opaque mode by right clicking on an open picture. You can use the mouse wheel or Ctrl + up/down to control the opacity. Right click for the exit menu.
-Add: External GPS= Connect to an external GPS device such as a Bluetooth GPS and pictures taken will have the coordinates in the picture.
-Add: DPI settings can be changed through settings and when saving pictures.
-Changes: Time lapse now has option to turn on lights only when taking pictures.
-Changes: Measurements can now can set up to four decimal places (0.0001) through the measurement properties window.
-Updated language files
-Fixed general bugs

DinoCapture 2.0 v1.3.6.K: Update

The latest version of the DinoCapture software is available. Changes include:

• Resolved installation error for some first time users.

This is a quick update to the version 1.3.6 which was just released in January.

DinoXcope updated ver 1.7.3 for MAC is now available

The latest version of DinoXcope is now available (1.7.3) and includes changes:

-Now supports the 5 megapixel Dino-Lite Premier AM7013 and AD7013 series!
-Live and picture window are now re-sizable
-Save as format now remembers the last format that was used
-Fixed general bugs

DinoCapture 2.0 v1.3.6: Full-Screen Measurement

The latest version of the DinoCapture software is available. Changes include:
-Full screen measurements
-Click the full screen button to enter full screen measurement mode, ctrl+click full screen button to enter complete full screen mode
-Additional video save formats
-Fixed bug related to Ctrl key shortcuts interfering with other software
-Added Spanish language help file

DinoCapture Software and Device Drivers Separated

The DinoCapture software application and device drivers which were previously packaged together (in several different versions corresponding to different devices), are now available as separate downloads. This change was made to simplify the process of updating the software and avoid issues related to unnecessarily reinstalling the device drivers whenever the software is updated. Additionally, newer UVC models only require the DinoCapture software, and no device driver. As of this date, the UVC models that do not require a driver include: AM2011, AM3013, AM3613, AD3713, AM3713, AM4013, AM4113, AD4013, AM7013, AD7013, AM7023, AMH2.

From this point forward, UVC models performing a software update or a fresh install will only need the DinoCapture software. Other models (non-UVC) performing a software update will also only need the DinoCapture software. Other models (non-UVC) performing a fresh install will need the DinoCapture software and the corresponding driver.

Three versions of the driver are available on the download page, with the corresponding model numbers listed next to the file name.

DinoVision Available

The latest version of the DinoVision software is available! DinoVision is an additional software available for free to all Dino-Lite users. Drag and drop images from DinoCapture into DinoVision for additional image manipulation and analysis features including split, overlay, and comparison.

New body and scroll-lock feature

Today we are announcing the newest version of the Dino-Lite microscope casing, which includes a scroll-lock feature to allow the operator to “lock-in” at a chosen magnification.
